The Challenge

The competition amongst online estate agents and self-service offerings is intense. With heavyweight competitors such as Purple Bricks emerging, Countrywide needed to modernise their services across 50+ portfolio estate agents. The project was a huge operation and a massive change to their online operations. Our challenge was to create a series of how-to videos to walk users through the new online system – and to personalise the video for all 50+ brands!

The Solution

The most important feature of the videos was to present useful information in a clear and concise way that was easy to understand. To do that we prepared scripts and used a presenter to deliver the content together with all the variations. Then we edited the footage and prepared 1,000+ videos before working with the technicians to ensure the correct video was called up for the corresponding estate agent within the online portal.

Countrywide has a huge portfolio of estate agents and we needed to create a personalised video for each one.  We prepared several videos for each estate agent and uploaded them to the relevant estate agent’s online portal, within the Countrywide website.  The videos were then strategically positioned to walk customers through the buyer’s journey.

The client was delighted with the production values and, because we opted for a simple format, we delivered the message in an easy-to-understand manner.  The results were better than forecast. The client was so pleased that we are working with Countrywide on many other projects. Furthermore, the project was so successful, Countrywide decided to roll out the project to their Scottish brands, which meant a re-shoot with a Scottish presenter.
